Miguel Ferrer was the FBI coroner Albert Rosenberg in the series “Twin Peaks”. The actor, offspring of José Ferrer, died on January 19, 2017, at the age of 61, a victim of cancer. “He made the world brighter and funnier,” declared his cousin, George Clooney himself.

The first of five children of the first Hispanic actor to receive an Oscar, and the singer Rosemary Clooney , Miguel Ferrer was born on February 7, 1955 in Los Angeles. Although he spent his childhood among Hollywood celebrities, he first tried his hand at music. As a drummer, he accompanied his mother and Bing Crosby on several tours .

However, he could not break ground, so he tried his luck in acting, first in a chapter of the Magnum series , in 1981. Since then he has not stopped working as a secondary, in movies in titles like Robocop , where he was the brain that conceives the protagonist, half man, half machine, all police. He also played a dealer in Traffic , and an executive in Iron Man 3 .

But above all, he excelled in the television arena, especially as Rosenberg, a coroner who helps Agent Cooper, in Twin Peaks . He had just filmed new episodes of the series. He also played Dr. Garrett Macy for many years, in Crossing Jordan . He leaves pending episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles , where he was the Assistant Director of the team of investigators Owen Granger.

Divorced from Leilani Sarelle, with whom he had two children, he was linked to Lori Weintraub until his death.
