Michael C Hall
Today it would be impossible not to link Michel C. Hall with Dexter, that coroner who ruthlessly and meticulously murdered criminals who managed to escape the law. The character earned him a Golden Globe for Lead Actor in 2010.
Michael C. Hall was born in North Carolina, United States, in 1971. He had a difficult adolescence since his father, William Carlyle Hall, died when he was 11 years old. Tragic fact of which he stated that “for a young boy, there is no good age, but I was on the cusp of puberty, the time to relate to my father.” This event caused him to bond with his mother, Janice Styons Hall. Years later, his life put more obstacles for him when in 2010 he was diagnosed with cancer from which, showing great strength, he managed to recover. He graduated in 1993 from Earlham College with dreams of becoming a lawyer. Shortly thereafter he enrolled at New York University for acting classes, graduating in 1996.
In his artistic career he has not had a great variety of registers, but he has had intense characters. Before starting on television, she participated in several musicals, such as “Chicago” and “Cabaret”. His first role was that of a homosexual director of a funeral home in the series Two Meters Underground (2001). Five years later, his acting skills earned him the leading role of the popular Dexter (2006-2013), a character for which he is known worldwide. During this time, he combined the series with an appearance on the big screen, in films like Paycheck (2003) , Gamer (2010) or Amores asesinos (2013). His first starring role was obtained inPeep World (2010) and in 2014 he competed with the thriller Frío in July in the Official Section of the Sundance Festival.
Michael C. Hall has been married twice. In 2002 he joined Amy Spanger, his partner in the musical “Chicago”, although four years later they decided to separate. His second marriage would last less, this time with his fictional half-sister ( Dexter) , Debra Morgan, since he did not last two years.
