Mia Michaels is an American choreographer, dancer, television personality and author, best known as the choreographer and judge on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance between 2005 and 2013. Mia was rated 3 for her skill, ability and expertise Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Choreography in 2007, 2010 and 2011 and was nominated for the same award in 2003 and 2009. She collaborated with Celine Dion on the choreography for her A New Day concert in 2003 and choreographed the Delirium world tour by Cirque du soleil , a well-known Canadian theater company.

In 2012 she choreographed the Rock of Ages film starring Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Diego Boneta, Bryan Cranston and Catherine Zeta-Jones, choreographed and starred in the dance film Start the Revolution as Olivia alongside Kathryn McCormick and Ryan Guzman in the same year . In 2015, Mia created the choreography for Finding Neverland , a popular Broadway musical, published her first book in audio and hardcover format entitled A Unicorn in a World of Donkeys on May 1, 2018 .
