Born on December 2, 1990 in Arnhem, the Netherlands, Mert Ekin Daymaz has established himself as one of Turkey’s most acclaimed actors. The son of Turkish parents, the artist began his professional career as a model , at which time he was a contestant on ‘Best Model of Turkey’ and came in third place. However, he wanted to direct his working life to the world of acting, so he began to prepare for it.
His great television debut took place in 2014, when he joined the cast of ‘Not Defteri’ with the role of Egemen Şanoğlu. However, this project has not been one of the most outstanding of the actor, since the audience levels were quite low. The following summer, he played the character of Volkan Mazharoğlu in ‘Smell of Strawberries’, followed by his role in the FOX series ‘Hayat Sevince Güzel’, in which he appeared in a leading role.
The aforementioned project became the most watched program in Turkey between July 11 and August 15, 2016. On the other hand, Mert Ekin Daymaz has always confessed to feeling a great passion for sports, which is why he decided to study training and fitness at the University of Haliç.
