Merry Matthews Biography

Merry Matthews is an American meteorologist currently working for the WeatherNation Television Network in Denver, Colorado, USA. She is an excellent weather forecaster and helps educate the public about the weather and the impacts of our activities on the weather. One of her most memorable moments on weather reports was when she reported the tornadoes in the Southeast on April 27, 2011 and warned the public of future major and minor outbreaks. Her nationality is American and her ethnicity is White.

Matthews joined the University of Georgia in 2003 and graduated in 2007. After graduation, he immediately applied for and was awarded the internship in Meteorology at CNN. She worked there as an intern for 5 months and in September 2010, she worked as a branch leader and also handled outside sales at Premier Surfaces. In November 2011, a year and a quarter later, she left her job at Premier Surfaces and joined WAAY-TV as a meteorologist.

During her time at WAAY-TV, she went to various locations to cover weather conditions. She also presented a forecast of future weather conditions. Her work there lasted 2 years and 7 months. In May 2014, she quit her job and joined WeatherNation as a meteorologist in Denver, Colorado. In addition to meteorology, she has skills in Broadcast Television, Broadcast Journalism, ENPS, video editing, and non-linear editing.

Outside of her career, she loves to be outdoors with her husband fishing and camping. Aside from her parents, her biggest inspiration and influence on her life is Joyce Meyer. Before discovering her, Matthews always sought to enhance her spiritual maturity. After listening to Joyce Meyers, she began to take a more positive view of the world and face the obstacles in her life with optimism.

Merry believes that science has much more to do in real life and wants to educate people about climate-related issues. She also wants there to be more research in all fields so that answers can be found with evidence. She has an active social life and huge fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter.

Its most memorable weather experience was the historic long-tracked and violent tornado outbreak in the Southeast on April 27, 2011. The tornado killed 324 people in 6 states. He had to report it and forecast upcoming major and minor tornadoes. A strange fact about her is that he doesn’t like to brush her teeth even if she does it twice a day.
