Mercy Chinwo’s Ex-Boss Speaks Out on VeryDarkMan’s Arrest: “He Gave a Voice to the Voiceless”

Eezee Tee, former manager of gospel star Mercy Chinwo, has spoken out following the arrest of popular online commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), whose detention has stirred controversy across social media.
VDM was recently picked up by security operatives in Abuja, sparking allegations and counterclaims about who may be behind his arrest. Among the theories making rounds online is that Mercy Chinwo had a hand in it, due to her defamation lawsuit against the outspoken activist.
VDM had previously called out the gospel singer in connection with her ongoing legal dispute with Eezee Tee, her former record label boss. While both Chinwo and her camp have remained silent, Eezee Tee has now broken his silence.

“No one can dispute his contributions in giving a voice to the voiceless and amplifying the concerns of the have-nots,” he wrote. “At this trying time, I pray for your safety and release.”
