Biography
Mercy Aigbe was born on 1 January to the family of Pa Aigbe and Mrs. Abisola Grace Owodunni. She hails from Benin city which is the capital of Edo State and is the second child in a family of 5 children.
Her primary education was at St. Francis primary school after which she attended Maryland Comprehensive School Ikeja, Lagos.
After secondary school, she went to The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State where she received her OND in Financial Studies in 2001, and then to the University of Lagos where she got her degree in Theater Arts.
She kicked off her acting career by starring in some soap operas including the popular T.V drama series Papa Ajasco. Professionally Mercy Aigbe joined the Nollywood Industry in 2006.
In 2014, Mercy Aigbe married Lanre Gentry, a hotelier. Though the marriage did not last because of some differences, the marriage produced a son.
Currently, Mercy Aigbe is married to Kazim Adeoti Adekaz who hails from Lagos state.
