Melinda get Billion worth of shares after divorcing Bill Gate

It has been earlier reported that The billionaire couple, Bill and Melinda Gate had announced their divorce on Monday.

However, they have been different controversy on how the couple was going to split their wealth since there was not a pre-nuptial agreement between the couple after spending 27 years together.

However, it was reported yesterday that the Microsoft founder Bill gate transferred some a share worth $1.8 billion in Cascade Investment to his ex-wife on Monday, May 3, on the same day they made their divorce public to the media.

Aside from the whopping Cascade Investment fund, Melinda also got 2.94 million shares from the Canadian AutoNation and another 14.1 million from Canadian national Railway Co which are both worth $309 million and $1.5 billion.
