Dorcas Shola Fapson is a Nigerian actress, DJ, and presenter best known for her role as Sophie in MTV’s Shuga.
Background
Dorcas Fapson was born in 1991 and raised in London. She lost her mother when she was 14 years old, so she grew up under her Father’s guidance and watchful eye.
Educational Background
Fapson earned her first degree in criminology from the University of Bedfordshire in England, and then went on to New York to pursue her second degree in acting.
Movie Career
DSP began acting in 2013, when she was cast in the MTV Shuga Series, she however, received acting training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
She was named the host of The Juice, an interview series that aired on NdaniTV, and she has appeared in three seasons of MTV Shuga, under the stage name Sophie, in 2013, 2014, and 2020.
DSP returned in 2020 to star in the MTV Shuga series, which focused on coronavirus issues and filmed in multiple countries around the world.
She also appeared in 2017’s Banana Island Ghost and 2019’s The Essence.
She worked at London Probation with inner-city, at-risk kids. She has expressed a wish to build a drama center that caters particularly to these groups in the future.
Dorcas was cast in the lead role of ‘Aunty Funke’ in London’s West End Lyric Theatre’s first Afrobeats Musical, Oliva Tweest.

However, in 2018, she was pictured aboard a private tiny yacht with Wizkid in lovey-dovey poses. Rumour also has it that she is sleeping with her best friend, Timini Egbuson, but they have both debunked those rumors as well.
