MÁXIMO HUERTA: HIS AGE, HIS CURRENT PARTNER AND WHY HE CHANGED HIS NAME

Born in the Valencian town of Utiel in 1971, it was clear to him that his thing would be the world of communication, which is why he studied Information Sciences at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, in Valencia.

At a very young age he began to take his first steps in the world of journalism at various local radio stations and writing for newspapers such as Valencia 7 days and Las Provincias.

JUMP ON TV

In 1997 he began working on Channel 9, the now-defunct regional television. There he presented the News for 3 years, achieving great results, a great job that helped him make the leap to national television.

Upon her arrival at Telecinco, she began at the network’s News, where she remained for five seasons, to later make the leap to entertainment with El programa de Ana Rosa. There she became one of the fashionable faces together with her partner Óscar Martínez , leaving the program in 2015 to focus on new projects.

IT WAS ONLY 7 DAYS MINISTER

If Máximo Huerta has stood out for something, it is because of his career as a writer. He has published the following titles: ‘Let it be the last time’, ‘The whisper of the shell’, ‘A store in Paris’, ‘Don’t leave me (Ne quitte pas)’, ‘The hidden part of the iceberg’, ‘ Firmament’, ‘Love was enough and The dreamed night’.

MÁXIMO HUERTA’S CURRENT PARTNER

Juan Castillo is the man who has occupied the heart of the writer and journalist for several years, although he has managed to keep their relationship a secret from the press for years. Although they have not confirmed it, they have been seen together at different times since 2018. Before this courtship, Huerta acknowledged that she had had a relationship with fashion designer Juan Avellaneda.

WHY WAS THE NAME CHANGED?

In 2019, he surprised everyone by announcing that he was stopping using the name of Máxim Huerta and asking to be called Máximo Huerta. «In this troubled time,  the landing place has been my family and my friends. And in my family, my bills, my train tickets… they call me Máximo. Since my father died, he had wanted to sign like this for a long time, “he confessed to Risto Mejide in an interview.
