Maureen Arthur
He starred in the comedy “How to Succeed Without Giving a Coup” and was lavished on television and the Broadway theater. Maureen Arthur passed away on June 15, 2022, at her home in Beverly Hills, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, her brother Gerald revealed to her.
Born on April 15, 1934, in San Jose (California), Maureen Louise Arthur was the daughter of a movie theater operator. While studying theater at Northwestern, she won a national talent contest on CBS ‘s The Garry Moore Show . As a consequence, she appeared on various shows, and starred in the 1961 sitcom Holiday Lodge , produced by the same network.
Maureen Arthur triumphed on Broadway with How to succeed without hitting, where she played a secretary. She later participated in the film version. She later lavished herself on television series, and occasionally returned to the theater.
When it comes to her private life, Maureen Arthur divorced saxophonist George William Weidler ( Doris Day ‘s second husband ) in 1970. She was then married to producer Aaron Ruben until his death in 2010.
