Master Gims , whose real name  is Gandhi Djuna , born on May 6, 1986 in Kinshasa, is a Congolese rapper, singer and composer. He is one of the most influential contemporary French rappers. Member of the group Sexion d’Assaut, he has already sold more than a million albums, and was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique in 2014. Maître Gims ‘ music is influenced by hip-hop, dance, with pop or latin touches. Just before his first album,  Les Inrocks  noted that Maître Gims  “knows how to do practically everything”  and faced with the success of his singles wondered: will he be  “the Messi of French rap” .
