She was mostly known for her roles in shows like “Law & Order” and “ER.” The lifeless body of actress Mary Mara, 61, washed up in the St. Lawrence River in Cape Vincent, New York on the morning of June 26, 2022. Preliminary investigation suggested that Mara drowned while swimming. According to the report, there were no signs of violence. The body was transported to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Born on September 21, 1960, in Syracuse, New York, Mary Mara graduated in Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama. After many years dedicated solely to the theater, she began her journey as an actress in film and television when she was about to turn 30. She began to stand out on the big screen with a major role in Love Potion #9 , where she played a prostitute and petty thief, opposite Sandra Bullock .
