CAREER OF MARTON CSOKAS

Csokas kicked off his career by landing a role on the Shark in the Park series, playing the character of Terry Mercer in 1990. Consequently, appearing in an episode titled ‘Technical KO’. From 1993 to 1995 he portrayed Leonard Rossi-Dodds on the soap opera Shortland Street.

Then he moved on to the cast of the drama film Broken English, in 1996. For almost three years, he had a recurring role in Xena: Warrior Princess, Borias. Also, he played the role of Lord Celeborn in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

and its sequel The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) and also playing the role of Guy de Lusignan in Kingdom of Heaven (2005). Marton also played the villainous Yorgi in XXX (2002). To add to that, in 2004 Jarda in The Bourne Supremacy, he played Mr. Smith in Kangaroo Jack, while in 2005 he played Trevor Goodchild in Æon Flux.
