Marley Kayden is an American journalist and a professional musical theater actress. She is a Chicago-based multimedia journalist who specializes in broadcast and business news reporting. To this day, she works as a weekend traffic anchor on NBC 5, which airs on WMAQ-TV. Kayden is also a correspondent for CBOETV and host of Most Assets with Marley Kayden, a show that covers the most traded options contracts of the day. She is married and has children.
Early life and education of Marley Kayden
Kayden was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She spent her childhood days in his hometown. Marley Kayden graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Music and Minor Drama. She graduated with honors with a 3.7 GPA.
In June 2013, he earned a Master of Science in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, Chicago. She was a Medill Ambassador and recipient of the Medill Alumni and Medill/NU Scholarships.

Marley Kayden began her career as a theater and stage actress. In 2002, she won Miss New York Teen. He has acted in various shows at Equity Theaters, as well as in commercials and on television for companies including Jergens, Huggies, Energizer, Food Network, PCC Wireless/T-Mobile, Diageo Brands, PUR, Oneida Silver, Welch Allyn Medical, and Rockstar Games.
To utilize her spare time and resources, Marley Kayden also tutors for grades 4-12, standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, SAT II) and New York State Regents prep. .
Journalism career
In January 2008, Marley Kayden started her first job in Journalism and has made it her primary career ever since. She worked for Wall Street Media in New York as co-anchor of “Stocks Today,” where she reported daily financial news, interviewed company CEOs and executives, and traveled the United States, covering financial conferences.
In 2012, Kayden worked as a business reporter for the Medill news service. Drawing on her musical talents, she worked at Chicago Music in early 2013 as a classical music and theater reporter, reporting on a variety of topics from live theater to contemporary music concerts.
She is also an avid dog lover. She has rescued several dogs and has adopted a few of them. She is close to her family. Kayden listens to rock and country music during her spare time. She is a big fan of the rock band Pearl Jam.
