Mark Reed Levin is a famous American activist, journalist and radio host. He hosts the syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Program, as well as Fox News’ Life, Liberty & Levin. Levin worked under President Ronald Reagan’s administration and served as Chief of Staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese. He is past president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, best-selling author of seven books. Levin also contributes articles to various media such as National Review Online. Levin had been editor of the Conservative Review since 2015 and is also popular for his reporting on the flames.

Mark Reed Levin was born into a Jewish family on September 21, 1957 in Philadelphia. He grew up in Erdenheim and Elkins Park with his two other brothers. His boss, Jack E. Koch Charitable Foundation and ExxonMobil. Levin stepped down as chairman of Landmark Legal in 2018, but remained on its board of directors.

Radio career:

Levin launched his broadcasting career as a guest on conservative radio programs. Additionally, he was a frequent contributor to legal opinions on The Rush Limbaugh Show for many years, where Limbaugh called him on-air “F. Lee Levin,” a tongue-in-cheek reference to defense attorney F. Bailey Lee. He also contributed to the Sean Hannity Show and eventually got his own radio show on WABC, starting in 2002 on Sundays and then in the timeslot leading up to Hannity’s 2003 series. In 2006, Cumulus Media Networks began syndicating The Mark Levin Show nationally. Hannity dubbed Mark Levin the “Great”.

Levin has participated in the Freedom Concerts, an annual benefit concert to help the families of fallen soldiers, and uses his radio program to promote relief for military families. The journalist is also involved with the charity Move America Forward, which sends care packages to soldiers serving overseas. Levin signed a ten-year contract extension with Westwood One on February 11, 2016, which will take his show through 2025, his 19th year. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame on November 16, 2018.
