Born on December 1, 1977 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was born as the son of a Lebanese father and a Canadian mother and grew up in Montreal, Quebec. From an early age, he spoke French, English and Arabic, which made him trilingual.

He started his acting career through commercials. He later appeared for the first time in CBC Television’s ‘Wild Roses’ television series. Until 2012, he starred in minor roles in the series like ‘Smallville’, ‘The Secret Circle’, ‘Fairly Legal’ and ‘Arrow’. He got his first starring role as ‘Daniel GooseEgg’ in the web series ‘Soldiers of the Apocalypse’. Then he starred in the recurring role in 2012’s ‘Emily Owens, MD’ and 2013’s ‘Eve of Destruction’.

In 2014, he landed the lead role of “Major Sergio Balleseros” in 17 episodes of Syfy “Helix.” The show aired for two seasons and ceased airing on April 29, 2015.
