Born in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), on May 10, 1947, Marion Ramsey began her journey as a Broadway actress, in the productions Eubie! , Grind and Hello Dolly .
Marion Ramsey began to become known for her work on The Jeffersons and Cos series , a compilation of sketches where she shared the screen with Bill Cosby . Internationally, she became popular after becoming one of the recruits who aspired to become police officers, after the academy lowered its requirements, due to a lack of students, in Police Academy , from 1984.
