Mario Casas

He owes his popularity to Los hombres de Paco , where he played Aitor Carrasco, a new policeman who was the boyfriend of the protagonist’s daughter. Thanks to the unusual success of the series, Casas became a mass idol, especially for adolescents.
His most important film has been 3 meters above the sky , adaptation of a novel by Federico Moccia , in which the best is his work, as a misfit who conquers a young woman from a good family, played by María Valverde . Shortly after, he released Neon Flesh , a Spanish film that imitated the style of Guy Ritchie ‘s first films .
In addition to starring in the apocalyptic series El barco , Casas is going to meet again with María Valverde in La mula , an adaptation of a novel about the Civil War by Juan Eslava Galán, directed by Michael Radford .
Casas has three brothers, two boys who are dedicated to acting and a girl. The most famous is the very young Óscar Casas , a regular actor in the series Águila Roja . “We are a pineapple and we like to be together to feel good. For me, life is family and then everything else: work, friends…”. In fact, Casas’ great dream is to have children one day. “I want to have four or five children,” he has commented.
