MARINA CASTAÑO: HER AGE, HER CURRENT PARTNER AND HER LIFE WITH CAMILO JOSÉ CELA
Marina Castaño has become a character sought after by the gossip press after her long marriage to the writer Camilo José Cela. We review the life of the journalist, paying special attention to her age and her current partner.
Born in 1957, she began to make herself known in the world of communication thanks to collaborating on different local television and radio programs in Galicia.
Beyond the famous writing, Marina has had more love relationships. The first was with a merchant marine captain, whom she married when she was barely 18 years old. With him she had Laura, her only daughter. The marriage broke up at the age of nine.
In 1985 he coincided with the Nobel Prize at a folklore congress, but it would not be until three years later when they made their relationship public, being the person who accompanied him to Stockholm for his Nobel award ceremony.
After obtaining a divorce from their first marriage, Marina Castaño and Cela deceived fifty people to attend what seemed to be a birthday. Although no one knew it, that party became the wedding that was held at the writer’s estate in Guadalajara.
After 11 years of marriage, the brilliant writer died in 2001 due to heart failure, leaving the journalist and columnist a widow. Her departure made him face the children of the Nobel Prize for his inheritance and noble titles.
Despite everything, Marina Castaño was able to rebuild herself and continued her professional career in the media, from which she has not disappeared to this day. Nine years after being widowed, her love was knocking on her door again thanks to an unknown surgeon.
After two years of relationship, Castaño decided to marry Enrique Puras in 2013 in a very discreet ceremony held at his home, located in the Puerta de Hierro urbanization in Madrid, one of the wealthiest areas of the capital.
