In 2010, Mariem started her career. She was discovered by the Tunisian public with her role as Dorra Mnawer in the Tunisian series “ Casting ”. However, in 2012, she made a strong comeback with her role in the series Maktoub. She was the cover of people magazine Tunivisions in September 2012.
In 2016, she starred in two series which aired during the month of Ramadan, Awled Moufida and Flashback . The actress also appeared in the film Woh! by Tunisian director Ismahane Lahmar. In 2019 Mariem Ben Chaabane took a leading role in the Tunisian television series Machair by Turkish director Muhammet Gok, she played the role of Meriem “A fighter woman who has brain cancer and has only a few days left to live” . The series had great success in the Maghreb region during Ramadan 2019, its role was admired by the Tunisian and Maghreb public.
Alongside her career as an actress, Mariem Ben Chaabane also started as a theater teacher where she led theater classes for children and adults.
