MARCO ASENSIO: HIS AGE, HIS PARTNER AND THE TRAGEDY OF HIS MOTHER
Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1996, his mother was Dutch, which is why the player has dual nationality and why the Dutch team was interested in him competing with her, but decided to do it with Spain.
At only 15 years old, he suffered a severe blow such as the death of his mother. She was diagnosed with cancer and couldn’t get over it. Gilberto, her father, worked as a delivery boy for a well-known supermarket on the island, until Marco moved to Madrid.
