NEUER CONFIDENT DESPITE CONCERNS OVER BAYERN MUNICH FORM

Adopted from: goal.com
Posted: November 13, 2018

Amid questions about his form for club and country, the goalkeeper dismissed any suggestion he felt under pressure.

Manuel Neuer insists he feels confident despite concerns over his form for Germany and Bayern Munich in 2018.

The 32-year-old endured a difficult World Cup after returning from a long absence with a foot injury as the defending champions exited the tournament in the group stage.

Neuer’s performances for Bayern have also been in question this season, with the keeper conceding eight times from eight shots on target in a recent string of matches.

However, Neuer maintains that he is unperturbed by any criticism, telling a press conference, “It’s old stuff, nothing new.

‘I am in good shape; I had a good game against [Borussia] Dortmund. I’m confident.’
