Manuel de Blas is one of the most prolific Spanish secondaries. He has been in over 160 productions, although where he really shines is in the theater.

Born in Badajoz on April 12, 1941, Manuel de Blas Muñoz spent his childhood in Córdoba. He enrolled in Political Science in Madrid, but when he realized that he was going to be an actor, he decided to combine these studies with those of dramatic art, at the Official School of Cinematography.

She first appeared on screen in 1961 in Rosa de Lima , by José María Elorrieta , where she had a minor role. Since the 1960s he has not stopped playing supporting roles such as Paco Martínez Soria ‘s son-in-law in Abuelo Made in Spain , a captain in Crusade at sea or a judge in Marbella, a five-star hit . He achieved immense prestige in the theater, by participating in productions of works as well known as “Blood Wedding” or “Divine Words”.

During the filming of Cita en Navarra , he fell in love with the American actress living in Spain Patty Shepard ( Slugs, slimy death ), whom he married in 1967.

He has remained a regular face on the small screen over the years. In recent times he has been a general, in Cuéntame cómo paso , the mysterious old man Saúl from El internado , and above all the rigorous maitre d’ Benjamin, who hides a dark secret, in Gran hotel . He now he just shot a scary teen in 3D, XP 3D .
