1. In 2000 he collaborated with his older brothers Kuly and Surj to form their music group, RDB .
2. After the death of Kuldeep Ral, Manj and Surj got into a legal dispute over RDB Intellectual Property and the brand name. Manj had claimed that Surj had not contributed to RDB’s success and he was only hired when Kuldeep was pursuing his master’s degree.
3. Before beginning his professional music career, he sang in gurudwaras with his father and brothers.
4. In 2014 he founded his Mumbai-based record label Muzik One Records . His close friend Raftaar is one of the artists signed to his label.
5. He got the opportunity to work with Akshay Kumar after he received a call from his friend saying that Akshay wanted to speak to him. Manj thought it was a prank and told him Shahrukh Khan called him just yesterday.
