The magician Yunke is one of what we consider to be the most spectacular magicians in the world, something that he shows whenever he can in shows like ‘ El Hormiguero ‘. We review his age from him, his partner from him and we discovered his real name from him.

YUNKE’S REAL NAME

Salvador Vicent, which is his real name, was born in the Castellón town of La Vilavella in 1975. Although he was interested in the world of illusionism from a very young age, it was not until he was 22 years old that he was able to become a professional magician.

He took his first steps thanks to the comedian Arévalo, whom he accompanied on his tours as the opening act for his show. It was only 19, just after finishing the Compulsory Military Service, when he began his career.

In the year 2000 he drew the attention of the entire profession when he hit the table by qualifying second in the Grand Illusions category of the FSIM World Magic Championship held in Lisbon.

A year later, in 2001, he won the Mandrakes d’Or award from the French Academy of Magicians at a gala held in the city of Paris. In that ceremony he was awarded along with David Copperfield, the most famous and media magician of recent years.

The Magician Yunke has a luxury assistant who is his sister Elena. How could it be otherwise, she fully trusts his brother, so he does not hesitate to participate in all his tricks, however risky they may seem.

THE FAMILY LIFE OF THE MAGICIAN YUNKE

Although he is one of the most spectacular collaborators of ‘El Hormiguero’, taking over from his friend Jandro in the magic section, the truth is that Salvador’s family life is hardly known.

«When I am not a magician, I am something very nice: father of Joel and Adrián, my two children of thirteen and eleven years old. I am separated and I like to spend time with them”, said the magician Yunke in an interview for Diez Minutos magazine.
