Michael McCorkle Jones was born on September 5, 1998, to Gordon and Holly Jones in Jacksonville, Florida. At Florida State University and Flagler College, his father was a tennis player. Will, Mac’s brother, played soccer for Mercer University, while Sarah Jane, his sister, represented the College of Charleston in tennis. He appeared in advertisements while working as an actor and kid model.
At The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida, Jones played high school football for head coach Corky Rogers. In 2015, Jones guided Bolles to the state regional final during his junior year.
