ACTOR LYLE WAGONER
Wagoner made his acting debut as a muscle man in a Kansas City production of Li’l Abner. He then formed a sales organization that helped him with the finances needed to start an acting career in Los Angeles. By the mid-1960s, he was already a regular face on television series, including the live-action television series, Batman, and the western radio and television drama series, Gunsmoke.
He also appeared in Catalina Caper and starred in the third season of the television series Lost in Space. During the 1970s and 1980s he appeared in several TV movies and minor films including The San Pedro Beach Bums, Happy Days, Golden Girls, Ellen, The Love Boat and Fantasy Island.
Before stepping down from his full-time acting job to run Star Wagons, a company that is considered the largest provider of custom studio rental trailers for the entertainment industry which he founded in 1979. Some of his last roles before his resignation were in the 2005 television series The War at Home which he starred with award-winning actors like Rami Malek, Michael Rapaport and Dean Collins.
