Luis Alberto ‘s talent has never been in question. When he shone with 15 goals in Segunda División B at the age of 20, he was picked as the next silky and highly talented playmaker from Spain. When Liverpool signed him they assumed they had brought another gem yet to be polished to the club, just as they had done with Coutinho just 6 months ago. However, Alberto’s career at Liverpool was very different from Coutinho’s. However, he eventually managed to gain a foothold in Lazio and slipped out under Simone Inzaghi’s tutelage.
