The Sevillian comedy duo Los Compadres is made up of actors Alfonso Sánchez   and Alberto López . Both have achieved their own style in which they laugh at Sevillian clichés. We review their age , their partners and their biographies .

Their union began when they decided to make a short together to try to make a name for themselves in the film industry that had forgotten them. El Culebra and El Cabesa were the characters that made them viral back in 2012.

What should have been a short without too many pretensions, became a video with millions of views on YouTube and ended up in a movie: ‘The world is ours’. This feature was financed thanks to the contributions of his fans and it even earned Alfonso Sánchez the award for Best Actor at the Malaga Festival.

After those canis that made them realize that their career had just begun, two other characters would arrive that would mark their lives: Rafi and Fali. This pair of posh Sevillians have been the hallmark of the duo Los Compadres since José Mota incorporated them into his program on TVE.

Being two posh textbooks, they became two of the protagonists of the successful ‘8 Basque surnames’, which made their fame skyrocket to levels they had never imagined. They could not miss the appointment in ‘8 Catalan surnames’, where they also had their place.

Confirmation of the success of Alfonso Sánchez and Alberto López would come when Antena 3 counted on them to be part of ‘Allí abajo’, the series in which a Basque man and a Sevillian woman found love.

LOS COMPADRES SUCCEED IN INDEPENDENT CINEMA

Without the support of large production companies, Los Compadres has managed to carry out up to three films on its own and leaving great moments for comedy. Rafi and Fali have starred in ‘The world is yours’, in 2018, and the recently premiered ‘The world is yours’.

Alfonso Sánchez is the father of a son with his partner, the film producer Agus Jiménez. Alberto Jiménez, for his part, is also a father along with actress Carmen Canivell, known for her participation in series such as ‘El secreto de Puente viejo’ and ‘Amar es para siempre’.
