Lori Allen is one of the successful actresses who rose to stardom after playing a long-running role as Pearl Krabs in the animated TV series SpongeBob SquarePants. She also voiced herself Diane Simmons in Family Guy and The Boss in the Metal Gear video game series. Her big screen performance includes Minions and Despicable Me 3 as well.
Early life and biography of Lori Allen
Lori Allen was born on August 11, 1959 in Potomac, Maryland, United States. She was raised in Atlanta and obtained her elementary education at the local school. She belongs to American nationality and hers ethnicity, she is of mixed ethnicity as she had a family of mixed faith: hers mother Martha Manning is Southern Baptist and hers father Elliot Denniberg is Jewish.
Previously, her parents were performers and they supported her in pursuing her career in the acting field. She and she made her acting debut at the tender age of five playing the supporting role in a commercial for Shakey’s Pizza. The first stage role of her Annie’s younger sister came in a local community theater production of Annie Get Your Gun .
Allen later moved to South Carolina, Columbia and graduated from Columbia College with a degree in business. He later moved to Atlanta and founded a Bridals store in 1980.
Lori Allen’s Career
Lori Allen’s boutique work has taken her to the next level of success. It was in the year 1980 when she decided to found Bridals by Lori. This was the best decision of her life. It has been expanded in a large area of 25,000 square feet. She has also appeared as a judge in fashion design competitions.
On her store’s 30th anniversary, Bridals by Lori Allen was declared the stage for the show. Say yes to wear: Atlanta. It was very popular and received several awards and nominations. Lori later appeared on Say Yes To The Cure: Lori’s Fight, which covered her battle with cancer.
Lori Allen often describes her wedding day as the best day of her life. She and her husband Eddie are lucky to have two children, Mollie Allen Surratt and Cory Allen . On April 13, 2012, her doctor confirmed that she had breast cancer, but was later cured. Her husband is also a cancer patient.
