Legendary country music singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn is active in the industry for 6 decades, Lynn gave several hit albums and received multiple awards including Grammy. She became one of the most awarded country music artists and the only woman to receive ACM Artist of the Decade.
Lynn was married to her singer husband, Oliver Lynn who died in 1996 at the age of 69. The couple share six children. She also has 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Loretta Lynn was born as Loretta Webb on April 14, 1932 in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky under the birth sign of Aries. Ella Loretta is American and is of mixed ethnicity (Scotch-Irish and Cherokee descent).
Lynn is the second of eight children born to her parents. Melvin Ted Webb and Clara ‘Clary’ Marie . Her parents named her after a movie star. Young Loretta . Her father died in 1959 at the age of 52 from black lung cancer, while her mother died in 1981.
Loretta’s husband cheated on her and was an alcoholic, but she stayed with Oliver until he died on August 22, 1996. They fought frequently and their marriage was rocky until the day of Oliver’s death. About their relationship, she quoted ‘One of the most difficult love stories’. She also explained,
“I married Doo when I was just a girl, and he was my life from that day on. But as important as my youth and upbringing were, there’s something else that made me attached to Doo. He thought that I was something special, more special than anyone else in the world, and he never let me forget it. That belief would be hard to kick out the door. Doo was my safety, my safety net. And remember, I am explaining to you, not excusing myself… Doo was a good man and a hard worker. But he was an alcoholic and it affected our marriage from the beginning.
After her divorce, the artist leads a low-key life.
Lynn suffered a stroke at her home in May 2017 and was immediately rushed to the hospital. She was the reason behind delaying the release date of her 41st album.On January 1, 2018, she broke her hip after falling at her house.
The artist is much less active on social networks like Facebook and Instagram.
