Loni Anderson was born on August 5, 1945 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. She is the daughter of Maxine Hazel, who was a model, and Klaydon Carl ‘Andy’ Anderson, who was an environmental chemist. Loni herself spent her childhood in suburban Roseville and she attended Alexander Ramsey Senior High School located in Roseville. She was raised as a Lutheran.

While there, Anderson was voted Winter Valentine’s Day. Later, he attended the University of Minnesota.

Loni Anderson started her acting career by acting in an episode of SWAT in 1975. After that, she went on to act in many movies and series like Vigilante Force in 1976, WKRP in Cincinnati in 1978 for which she is most recognized.

Anderson played the character Jennifer Marlowe for its 88 episodes through 1982. She appeared in The Incredible Hulk in 1978, Three’s Company in 1978, The Jayne Mansfield Story in 1980, Sizzle in 1981, Country gold in 1982, Partners in Crime in 1984, Stroker Ace in 1983, The Lonely Guy in 1984, Amazing Stories in 1985.

The following year, Anderson went on to play the role in Easy Street. Some of her other major works include Blondie and Dagwood in 1987 for which she provided the voice, A Whisper Kills in 1988, Sorry Wrong Number in 1989, Coins in the Fountain, Muncie in 1992, White Hot: The Mysterious Murder of Thelma Todd and The Price You Paid in 1992.

 

After a short break from the world of movies, Loni returned to appear in The Mullets in 2003-2004, Say NoTORIous in 2006, and more. Furthermore, Anderson also played the role of Pamela Anderson’s mother in an episode of VIP for which she is well known.
