Lolo Jones is an American track and field and luge athlete who specializes in the 60 and 100 meter hurdles. She won three NCAA titles and earned 11 All-American honors while at Louisiana State University.

Similarly, she has also won indoor titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in the 60m hurdles, along with gold medals at the World Indoor Championships in 2008 and 2010.

 

Early life

He was born on August 5, 1982 in Des Moines, Lowe. Lolo is a devout Christian. She is the daughter of Lori Jones and James Jones. Lolo’s mother raised her along with her other siblings, as her father spent most of her childhood in the Air Force and later in state prison.

Lolo Jones went to Theodore Roosevelt High School where she pursued her love of track. He separated from his mother to remain at Theodore Roosevelt and stayed with four different families throughout his high school

After high school, he joined Louisiana State University and quickly proved to be one of the best hurdles at the college level.

Lolo Jones completed her education in 2005 and decided to fully dedicate her life to ‘athletics’. His dedication and hard work soon paid off and he won the Torino Memorial event in 2006.

In the year 2008, Lolo seemed to be at the top of her game, having won the US Outdoor Championships as well as the US and World Indoor Championships.
