1. He grew up in the same violent and criminal neighborhood as 50 Cent and Tony Yayo. They eventually became good friends and tried to find refuge in rapping.

3. When he, 50 Cent and Tony Yayo found the rap group, G-Unit , he was only 17 years old. Early on, they released several mixtapes to attract the attention of major record labels.
