Liz Cho Evan Biography

The beautiful Liz Cho is a local news anchor at WABC-TV in New York City. Liz also served as a news correspondent for ABC News and was a co-anchor of ABC’s nightly news program, World News Now. Not only that, Liz Cho also served as a correspondent and host for Good Morning America. Cho has also co-anchored weekday 4 and 6 pm editions of the Eyewitness News show. Liz is particularly adored by viewers for her charming face, and she was listed as one of People magazine’s ’50 Most Beautiful People’.

Born on June 14, 1970, Liz Cho is an American national. Her father, Dr. Sang I. Cho, was a Korean American and her mother Donna (Weltman) Cho is a Jewish American, making her an American in relation to both Korean and Jewish ethnicity. Cho’s father, Dr. Sang I. Cho, was a well-known person in the United States; he was a liver and kidney transplant surgeon who led the team that performed the first liver transplant in Boston, Massachusetts. She died on March 13, 2009. Liz graduated from Boston University with a major in journalism and history.

Liz began her journalism career as an assignment editor at New England Cable News in Newton, Massachusetts. Later, Ella Liz became a reporter for WPLG in Miami, Florida. Liz left Florida to become a Chicago news correspondent for ABC News One, the ABC-affiliated news service. Subsequently, Liz Cho was assigned as co-anchor of ABC’s nightly news program, World News Now with her fellow anchor Derek McGinty. Meanwhile, Cho also served as a correspondent and fill-in host for the Good Morning America show. Cho later filled in for host Diana Williams at 6 p.m. M. And at 11 p.m. M. on July 6, 2003 for New York City-based WABC-TV. The Oprah Winfrey Show left, and therefore the station decided to fill the vacancy. Liz Cho began hosting WABC-TV’s new ‘First at 4:00’ with host David Navarro in 2011. Liz continued to work as a host for the 6pm broadcasts with Bill Rittler. Cho anchored for the weekday 4 and 6 pm editions of the Eyewitness News show.

Liz Cho married Evan Mark Gottlieb, the president of GOCO Development, who was born on September 3, 1961 and raised in Florida. The couple have a beautiful daughter named Lousia Simone Gottlieb, born on May 17, 2007. Unfortunately, the couple separated and filed for divorce in 2012, Liz eventually moving out of the family home. Evan and Liz settled their divorce and are currently doing what’s best for their daughter. Later, after the divorce, there were rumors that Liz and ABC’s Josh Elliot were dating. In fact, it turned out to be true when Liz was seen with Josh in Miami, heading back to their hotel together after a late-night dinner. Apparently Liz had gone to Miami with Josh, Sam Champion and her husband Rubem Robierb and Josh’s best friend Matt Ginella, after Josh left the ABC morning show and began hosting coverage for NBC Sports. Liz and Josh have kept their supposed affair very quiet, but finally their union shows everything. All in all, Liz Cho seems to have it all; with a lover by her side, a good salary in her hand, her journalistic traits and being a mother has certainly finished it off. In 2003, this impressive news correspondent was listed as one of People magazine’s ’50 Most Beautiful People’.
