Live life on your own terms: Charlie Hunnam’s attitude of staying strong keeps him fresh on the challenges ahead
Some call him the Brit Brad Pitt. Popular for his abs, Charlie Hunnam is most famous for playing Jax Teller in Sons of Anarchy (2008-2014). His most successful film project to date is Pacific Rim (2013) and just when he seemed poised to achieve world fame with the Fifty Shades of Gray he disappointed several devoted fans worldwide when he left the film in 2014.
After a brief hiatus, come 2016, you’ll see him in The Lost City of Z opposite Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson.
Also locked in to play the role of King Arthur in a six-movie deal directed by GuyRitchie, Charlie Hunnam’s career will finally rocket into the highest gear of his life over the next year. At 35, he didn’t get that far overnight or by accident. However, Charlie has worked his way up the ladder of success and built a strong value system to continue making progress while keeping an organized mind.
Break stereotypes as often as you can
Charlie Hunnam might have been able to play a glorified murderous outlaw on Jax , but he doesn’t recommend being a difficult nonconformist or an annoying rebel all the time just to do it. However, as you go through the motions of a monotonous routine and play your appropriate role, keep your eyes peeled for life-changing opportunities that can separate you from the crowd.
The ability to identify potential game-changers won’t occur to you if you occasionally tend to drift in life, mindlessly imitating what everyone else around you might be doing.
For example, modeling alone could be a cheap source of income to start Charlie’s career. Despite this, he found an acting job himself, still paying the commission to his agency with further guidance to find the roles that were likely to cast him. Somehow, Charlie believed far less in the dream the agency was trying to sell than in his own vision for his future. This independence has served him well so far.
Don’t underestimate the power of solitude and self-reflection!
In the smartphone-infested modern society, we are afraid of being alone. A bit of solitude is perhaps what we need most to calm our hyperactive minds a bit. Charlie Hunnam refuses to get a handle on all the money he’s made. Not to be a slave to technology and riches, Charlie would rather ride his 2009 Harley Dyna Super Glide to all his shoots and meetings than travel in an expensive car!
His fifteen-hour workdays might pass little time to meditate, but hearing nothing more than the sound of a bicycle on the street while observing his surroundings while driving around is what sharpens his focus by bringing his awareness into the present brings. Hunnam insists that even if he’s off the grid for even a short time, it’s enormously reassuring that he’s in control of his own life.
Exercise the mental benefits to face life’s uncertainties
Looking aesthetically pleasing is a never-ending processThe requirement for an actor and the scale to look good on screen is increasing every year. Despite the fact that every other action hero is incredibly athletic, Charlie Hunnam still lives on in the Brad Pitt set Latte Fight Club (1999).
He often shoots for 15 hours just to drive to the nearest gym and work out for the next few hours! Excuses annoy him when a person with a regular 8-hour work day complains about not having enough time to exercise. He insists that if you look lean and athletic, you’ll find the time and energy to invest in no matter what.
One of his main motives for maintaining his athleticism is to retain his survival instinct. He believes every man needs the confidence that comes with knowing that you can actually physically fight and defend yourself when the situation calls for it. At the same time, everyone should still have the sense and maturity to control their anger and avoid unnecessary fights.
training method
During most of his workouts, he likes to keep his routine simple yet hardcore, adapted to include basic movements like pull-ups, dips, squats, and push-ups. When he’s up for something challenging, he performs calisthenics at the outdoor bar and plays with advanced moves like muscle-ups. Trying to keep your diet as clean as possible by eating more lean protein and consuming vegetables by juicing when it’s not part of a proper meal saves you from the harm that comes from eating the wrong foods.
At the end of the day, it was about disciplineFitness is about more than just looking good. The ability to consistently perform and successfully complete difficult workouts will boost your self-esteem, protect your sanity, and give you the confidence to take bold steps in life! Charlie Hunnam believes so.
