University of Ilorin

Al-Hikmah University was established as an Islamic university in Ilorin, Kwara State in 2005 by AbdulRaheem Oladimeji Islamic Foundation AROIF based in Nigeria and World Assembly of Muslim Youths WAMY based in Jeddah.

This College of Education was established in order to develop courses for the training of teachers so as to promote research and improve knowledge among teachers in the state.
It started in 2005 through edict 21 that was issued by the Muhyideen Association of Nigeria.
