Lindsay Whalen is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women’s National Basketball Association. She has also gotten to play with AGU and Spoor from Euro basket.
Playing with the United States women’s national basketball team, she has won Olympic and World Cup titles. In addition to this, she has also clinched three WNBA titles with the Lynx.

During her high school days, Whalen was a four-time All-Missota Conference selection and was the leader of her team. She also won the state title and was ranked 13th. She was an all-conference selection in tennis and track as well.
Whalen later went to the University of Minnesota women’s basketball program and rose to national prominence. She was named the NCAA Mideast Region MVP for the 2004 NCAA. The player in the number 13 jersey retired from the University of Minnesota during a ceremony in January 2005.
