Lindsay Gottlieb is an American basketball coach and famous personality. She currently works as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Additionally, the coach was honored as Pac-12 Coach of the Year by the media. She was also one of four finalists for Naismith National Coach of the Year.

The head coach was born as Lindsay Catherine Gottlieb on October 2, 1977 in Scarsdale, New York, United States. She hasn’t shared much about her early years or her parents, but most of her family members are lawyers and her father was a judge. But no information about her mother as she has three siblings. She has two sisters: Suzy and Chris Gottlieb and a brother Peter Gottlieb.

After gaining experience in college, she became an assistant coach hired by Syracuse University head coach Marianna Freeman. While in college, she also pursued her Masters in Philosophy of Education. In 2001, she became an assistant coach under Sue Johnson at the University of New Hampshire. Thereafter, she assisted head coach Joanne Boyle at the University of Richmond.

In 2008, she was named head coach at the University of California, Santa Barbara and served as its assistant coach until 2011. From 2011 to 2019, she worked for California and joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2019 to run as an assistant coach.
