Linda Vester is an American television news journalist. She was the former host of Dayside with Linda Vester on the Fox News channel. She served at Fox from 1999 to 2005. She is also the founder and CEO of a website. Smartmamas.com – a website that inspires young mothers to raise their children and also helps them manage their personal and professional lives.
The former Fox News host lives in Manhattan with her husband Glenn Greenberg and four children, two sons and two daughters. She has been married to hedge fund manager Glenn Greenberg since 2001.

Linda Vester was born on June 11, 1965 , in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States , to parents Dorothy Vester and the late Dr. John Vester . Her birth name is Linda Joan Vester .
In 1985, Vester attended the Sorbonne in France for one semester, was a Fulbright scholar in Middle Eastern affairs in Egypt for twelve months. Linda graduated from Boston University. She graduated with a degree in journalism in 1987.

Previously, Vester worked at NBC News as an anchor/correspondent, MSNBC as an anchor for Today in America. She also worked for WFLA TV in Tampa, Florida.=
While at NBC, Vester anchored NBC News at Sunrise from 1996 to 1998. He also worked at Weekend Today, as a correspondent, from 1992 to 1996.
She’s spending it with her kids, as it’s been almost a decade since Linda hosted a newscast. The former Fox News Channel host lives in Manhattan with her family, she said, it was after she got pregnant a second time, Vester decided she would take care of her children instead of her job.
Her husband Glenn Greenberg is the founder and CEO of Brave Warrior Advisors, a privately held investment advisory firm. He is the son of former baseball player Hank Greenberg and his wife Caral Gimbel.
He grew up in a Jewish family in New York City. He earned an MBA from Columbia University. Upon graduation, he worked for five years with the Morgan Guaranty Trust pension group as a portfolio manager and analyst.
In 1984, he founded Chieftain Capital Management, then changed his name to Brave Warrior in 2010 when Shapiro left the firm.
Like her husband, Glenn has been married before, and also has a son by his previous wife named Duncan Greenberg who currently lives with them.
