Lina Canalejas

Concepción Álvarez Canalejas was born in Madrid on January 29, 1932 into a family of musicians, her father Manuel Álvarez Trigo was a violinist and her grandfather was the pianist and composer Arturo Canalejas. With that background, it is not surprising that after the civil war she began to prepare as a classical dancer when she was only eleven years old. And soon after he joined the comic company of Zori, Santos and Codeso with which he debuted on the stage with “La blanca doble” in 1947.
