  2. His parents decided to separate at a young age, and his childhood was spent between his father’s and mother’s homes.
  3. As a child, Lil Tracy listened to both emo music and southern hip-hop artists, which also inspired him to make music.
  4. He started his musical activities when he was 15 years old.
  5. At the age of 17 he became homeless.
  6. Lil Tracy moved to Los Angeles, California, from Virginia when he was 18 to focus more on his career in music. He did not inform his parents of his decision and moved while he was still homeless.

  9. Later Lil Tracy, along with some other members of Thraxxhouse collectively, decided to form a new group, the Gothboiclique collective .
  10. It was through the Gothboiclique collective that he was introduced to the late rapper, singer, songwriter and model Lil Peep. Soon after, the duo began working on the title White Tee from Peep’s mixtape entitled Crybaby . It soon garnered attention from the hip-hop underground.

In August 2017, Lil Tracy was also featured on Lil Peep’s single entitled Horrible Things from his debut studio album, Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1 . The song peaked at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the album remains the only Lil Peep album to be released during his lifetime.
  12. Lil Tracy left the Thraxxhouse collective in mid-2016 and changed his name from Yung Bruh to Lil Tracy as there was already an artist named Yung Bruh.
