Lil tjay (born April 30, 2001) is an American music artist, rapper, singer, songwriter, and social media star from the South Bronx, New York. He first gained immense popularity after the release of his song “Pop Out”.
It was released on February 1, 2019, in collaboration with Polo G (American rapper and singer). The music video for Pop Out came out on January 13, 2019 on Tjay’s self-titled official YouTube channel. It received more than 140 million views on YouTube.
Columbia Records later distributed the song. Additionally, the hit song also peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In fact, Billboard magazine ranked it at number 35 on its list of the 100 Best Songs of 2019.
