Lil Duval better is an American comedian and recording artist. In 2005, he was a finalist in BET’s Coming to the Stage comedy competition series. Powell is a series regular on the MTV2 shows Guy Code and Hip Hop Squares. From 2013 to 2014, he hosted the video show Ain’t That America on MTV2.

After moving to Atlanta, Powell began working in comedy circles, performing at Atlanta stand-up, Uptown Comedy Corner, which led to him becoming a regular performer
After performing at the Oakland Bay Area Competition in 2001, Powell was approached by the road manager of Cedric the Entertainer and was asked to perform on the Budweiser tour with Cedric and four other comedians. Powell was then invited by Cedric to perform on his special Cedric the Entertainer: Starting Lineup.
In 2003, he released the underground comedy DVD Dat Boy Funny, which also featured several upcoming comedians featuring colorful sketches and parodies poking fun at pop culture events. The following year, Powell became a regular featured performer on three seasons of BET’s ComicView. Powell released his second Put Your Hands on Me DVD in 2005. The same year, he appeared in Three 6 Mafia’s independent film Choices II: The Setup and was featured in various skits on the film’s soundtrack.
Duval starred as ‘Bam-Bam’ in the comedy-drama film, School Dance.
Duval uses the slogan “Wat Dat Mouf Do”. He released his first solo single and music video on April 1, 2014, titled “Wat Dat Mouf Do?” with Trae Tha Truth. In 2018, Duval released ‘Smile (Living My Best Life)’ featuring Snoop Dogg and Ball Greezy, and the single peaked at number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100.
