Lil Duval is an American comedian, known as the finalist of the BET comedy competition series called Coming on Stage in the year 2005.
Early age and education
Roland Powell known as Lil Duval was born in Jacksonville, Florida , on June 12, 1977 and raised there. He took the stage name ‘Lil Duval’ to pay homage to his birthplace called Duval County, Florida.
He attended First Coast High School , and after his graduation from First Coast High School, Powell moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She also has a sister named Rolanda.
Race
His career began after graduating high school when he moved to Atlanta, where he began working in comedy circles, performing as a stand-up comedian on the Atlanta classic Uptown Comedy Corner, making him a regular.
After his impressive performance at the Oakland Bay Area Competition in 2001, Duval was cheered on by Cedric Entertainer’s road manager. Later, he was invited to perform on the Budweiser tour with Cedric and four additional new comedians. Cedric asked Lil Duval to work on his TV special Cedric the Entertainer: Starting Lineup .
He released the underground comedy DVD called Dat Boy Divertido , which also featured several upcoming comedy performers with colorful sketches and parodies making fun of events in pop culture, and has also appeared in a number of movies.
The following year, Duval became a regular featured actor on three seasons of BETs ComicView. He made his second DVD called Put Your Hands On Me in 2005. The same year he appeared in the Three 6’s Mafia independent film Option II: The Setup .
Duval is well known for starting the Snapchat and Twitter trend #itaintrape, which has grown in popularity ever since. In 2010, Duval tweeted: #itaintrape if you’re naked from Yo Twitter profile picture, #itaintrape if I’m paying child support.
Lil Duval is also recognized for his term ‘Wat Dat Mouf Do?’. On April 1, 2014, he made his first solo single and music video titled ‘Wat Dat Mouf Do?’.
Personal life
Lil Duval’s current relationship status has yet to be revealed. Recently, an insider said that Duval damaged the windows of her baby mother (her ex-wife) while she was working.
Duval’s mother was working as a store manager when Mr. Duval broke her window. While she was working, she came back crying in fear and told one of her other managers that it was Lil Duval who broke it.
He even claimed that they have been apart for a few months now.
He is 1.57m tall and weighs 130lbs.
