LiAngelo’s father began his education at a very young age to ensure that he, along with his brothers, possessed all the necessary physical traits to become a successful basketball player in the future. When LiAngelo was about 4 or 5 years old, LaVar introduced his sons to bodyweight exercises like dips and push-ups. They also hung out at the bars for fun and sometimes even to compete with each other.

After age 12, LaVar added free weights to LiAngelo’s workouts. By the age of 12, LiAngelo was doing bench and shoulder presses in addition to push-ups and pull-ups. He also had to regularly do sprints up the mile-long incline of the hill near their family home.

  8. After their release, White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly claimed that Ball and his teammates were released due to the efforts of President Donald Trump and the United States Department of State.
  9. In the press conference held upon her return, Ball intended to steal and thanked President Trump for assisting in her release. However, he also insisted that the university had forced him to thank Trump.
