Legendary Indian actor, Dilip Kumar dies at 98
One of the earliest Indian movie legends and most famous film actors, Dilip Kumar has died in Mumbai at the age of 98. He has starred in more than 60 films that span close to five decades. Always playing the endearing and iconic roles in movies.

The veritable legend was admitted to the hospital on 30 June after he complained of breathlessness. He had been frequently ill for months.
However, Kumar is survived by his wife, Saira Banu, a Bollywood actress herself. The couple has no children.
Tributes have been pouring in on social media for the legendary actor – politicians, Bollywood stars and even historians have tweeted their condolences.
“With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago,” Faisal Farooqui posted on Kumar’s official Twitter on Wednesday.

Kumar starred in some of Indian cinema’s most successful films, including, Mughal-e-Azam, Devdas, Naya Daur (New Era), Ram Aur Shyam and Madhumati.
