Lazher bouazizi (in Arabic: الأزهر بوعزيزي), one of the great Tunisian figures that the dramatic and theatrical scene has known since the seventies. A professional theater actor since 1975, he was born on July 22, 1952.
Biography and Lifestyle of Lazher Bouazizi
Lazher Bouazizi Tunisian theater actor whose name has been associated with many dramatic works in the audiovisual field .
He has been practicing theater arts since he was a student at the Secondary Institute of Gafsa. Through theater lessons, his theater teacher Abdelkader Meqdad admired this young actor.
Lazher established himself as a young theatrical face with his high qualifications and respectable artistic preparations, from which he received numerous certificates of appreciation. Theatrical art became his sole obsession and future ambition.
His professional career began with a meeting. By chance, Lazher Bouazizi got to know theater teacher Ayed Souissi . The latter saw in him the ambitious artist and competitions of a big star. so he suggested that he join the Sfax Theater Troupe led by the artist Youssef El Rakik. He joined the troupe as a trainee, a year later he became a member of this troupe, his experience there continued from 1975 to 1995 . Twenty years of theatrical productions with a concern for excellence and to become a great star aspiring to notoriety and love for this creative art.
By ministerial order, the activity of the theater troupe was stopped in Sfax in 1995. He moved to work within the regional delegate of culture in Sfax for two years as a theatrical animator until the creation of the Arts Center Dramatiques et Musicales in Sfax in 1997, where he worked as a civil servant until his retirement in 2012.
Until today, his life is still a fight for values that he anchored to the body. He continues his theatrical work, He hopes to work in good quality children’s theater.

Private Life, Career & Timeline of Lazher bouazizi
Lazher bouazizi’s dramatic career has been intertwined with theatre, television, radio and production.
He has more than seventy plays to his credit, among his television works, we can mention: “The Famous Arabs, Dhafaer Ghalia, Layali Al-Beidh, Bent el-Kharaf, Al-Mujadila,…”, as well as radio series such as: Dahes and Al-Ghabra. Among the plays, we find Sinbad, Sanabel, The Deceiver, Dahis w Al-Ghubra.
In addition Lazher has several productions as a director and producer, we quote: “Ayam Zaman, Kan Ya Makan, Ala khota al Hakika, Fada w Hikayat”.
During his career, he won many awards, the first of which was the first prize nationwide when he presented the play Al-Sanabel by writer Mustafa Al-Farsi in 1976, and the last was the first prize of the Arab world within the framework of the International Festival of Tales in July of Ramadan 2014 in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.
He was honored in the Land of Art and Creativity, Egypt at the Thebes International Festival for Spontaneous Arts and Children’s Theater in Luxor Governorate from November 8-12, 2014.
