Latifa Arfaoui , ( لطيفه العرفاوي ) is known by the stage name Latifa Al Tunisia, was born on February 14, 1961 in La Manouba, is a Tunisian singer. at the age of 17 Latifa took part in the Talent Club and obtained the title of best singer. After finishing her secondary studies, she left Tunisia and joined the Arab Academy of Music in Cairo where she obtained a bachelor’s degree. To this day, and despite her busy schedule, she would prepare her master’s degree. In 1986, she made her first album Akthar Min Roohi and she started performing pop songs.The album enjoyed great success across the Arab world as its songs touch upon original ideas and distinctive styles. In 2005, Latifa Al Tunisia founded a charity that bears her name, with a quarter of her concert revenue now going to the charity. In November 2006, she worked with Rotana to distribute her creations throughout the Arab world.
